Reference Federal Hospitals are a set of six hospital units, whose area of influence includes the Federal District and states conurbation,
but essentially operate as units of concentration for the entire country.
Their main objective, the provision of general and specialized medical care, trained and skilled human resources training and participation in health research.
In these three areas have been highlighted and hospitals have set the standard of health care and academic quality in Mexico.
There are more than 20 specialties they offer, among which are endocrinology, dermatology, plastic surgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, gynecology, rheumatology, oncology, urology, orthopedics and psychiatry.
